I just received my order of E-Element Otemu brown switch keyboard (bought 2nd hand at JPY 2,300). It seems a little laggy, I am not sure if that is because of my old lagging Lenovo notebook or is it that I pressed the keys a little too soft (as I am more of a light typist).

Also, I am strangely I keep hitting the wrong keys. Maybe I got so used to a 60% keyboard that I am now not unfamiliar with a 75% keyboard. I guess my favorite is still the 60% layout (of course with easy access arrow keys).

The only issue I have with 60% keyboards are that they often do not have dedicated media keys. But I do not really need those now so I guess I am fine with the current status.

Oh and another order just arrived. It is Anne Pro 2 with Gateron Brown switches. Likewise, I bought it 2nd hand at JPY 5,500. I will post another post again as a typing test for that keyboard. :)

So now I have a Cherry MX brown (FILCO), Gateron brown (Anne Pro 2) and Otemu brown (E-Element). I am so excited to do a comparison between all of them!!! I am in keyboard paradise now~

So far, I feel that the Otemu browns are requiring more actuation force than MX browns. This is something I am not a fan of as I do not like to hit my keys too hard. Ok yes, I just did a search on Google - MX brown actuation force is 45g and Otemu brown is 55g. 10g more for each keypress. My fingers are getting tired.

But it does have a very nice sound when I type. Heh. It also has RBG which some gamers may like it, but to me I prefer just a plan backlit/no backlit keyboard. Also I can feel that there is more tactility then Cherry but somehow I feel my Cherry is more smooth. It could be that the board that I am using has been broken into for a long time, so the MX switches feels more smooth. The current board feels really new so many I need more typing on it.

Ok, I shall go and have lunch now.

To be continued...
