I was broken badly near the end of 2020. I guess because of all the cracks in me, I woke up full of overflowing hope and energy in 2021. Because the light can only get in through the cracks.

It was a beautiful countdown and a magnificent sunrise. I never felt more alive watching the sun slowly rising. Even when I was dead tired and almost freezing to death, I stood there at beach watching the rays slowly smearing across the sky. 

I was so glad that the road trip happened and I am so grateful that my friend planned it. If not for her I would not have had any plans for year end. 

The trip was so great it was hard to put it into words. It was a good trip, one that will stay in my memory for a long long time.

Happy new year and I await for all the exciting things that is coming my way!
