Just completed the semi-finals and I think I'm not going any further. I had a great time amid all the nerves. We humans all want appreciation, we want people to adore us, to love us and to respect us. It's all these expectations that results in the stress, if we disregard those then we will be much happier. I've completed a checkpoint in my life, however small it may seem and I'm going to continue to move forward. In life, we need to find our niche. We will never be able to succeed in full if we don't find that. If you are in a situation where you felt stuck or that you feel that you are not being appreciated, then it's not a right place for you to stay. This is not so much of running away from setbacks, it's cultivating a habit of moving on. Stop trying to please others when you've already tried your best. There are some who will never see your full light no matter how bright you shine. So accept the fact that you're not acknowledged and move on. One day you will be able to find a place that appreciates who you are as a person. On March 8, I attended the funeral of my uncle. It reminds me again how fragile life is...and that we should really not be wasting any more time in doing what we hate/dislike. We need to keep moving on as you never know when life will end on you. We need to pursue the happy things in life. We should all be happy. Life is a great thing, do not despair when you still have life.
